Chris was born in Brisbane but moved away early to grow up in Central Queensland. Straight out of school he began a career in construction working around the country on various road and mining projects. He quickly moved into leadership positions and finally finished in a Management position.
Wanting to spend more time with a young family, Chris and his wife Emma moved into Onsite Management and Letting of a complex in the Gold Coast and soon after a second complex was added to the portfolio. Cellas Real Estate was established in 2019 and has been serving the Gold Coast ever since.

Emma was born in Sale and moved to the Gold Coast with her family when she was 21. She has a Bachelor Degree of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma of Primary School Teaching. After many years nursing and then teaching, Emma and her husband Chris moved into management rights in order to have a better work-life balance for them and their young children.Â
Our Story
Emma & I met in 2012 and have been husband and wife for 7 years. We have a little family with 2 kids and a little furry child also. We enjoy hanging out together and try to take the caravan out whenever we can to discover new and exciting places.
When we first met, we both had really busy lives. I was working a mixture of in town jobs and FIFO. Emma was nursing and teaching, of both she was extremely passionate about.
We not long after started our little family and it soon become pretty obvious that there probably just wasn’t enough time in both our days to really spend the quality time that our kids deserved.
We gritted our teeth for a number of years, paying the bills and keeping the lights on, though it was hard to really feel fulfilled at the end of the day. A change needed to be made and so the idea of Property Management was born.
Emma had the nurturing, caring background associated with both her professions and I had the hands on skills and management experience. Together we had the perfect formula to create Cellas Real Estate & Property Management. Together we bought our first Management Rights in Robina and after a successful beginning quickly bought a smaller second MR in Mudgeeraba.
Through hard work and dedication we have not only improved the liveability of both complexes, we have provided the best possible service to our clients, both in sales and rentals.

It became very apparent, very quickly that the world of Real Estate could be a cut throat business. This however did not suit our company mantra. So we set out to change the way things are done.
